Akshatha is a graduate of School of Law, Christ University, Bangalore, with an LLM from Queen Mary, University of London (specialization in Intellectual Property Law).

As part of SmithDehn, Akshatha regularly provides litigation services, legal research, copyright filings and trademark and copyright search reports.

While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Akshatha was a part of the University’s Legal Aid Committee that aimed to provide free legal counseling and representation to those in need, which included visits to many villages in Karnataka, India.

Outside of her legal career, Akshatha is a trained dancer with over 10 years of experience in Bharatanatyam, an Indian classical dance form. She is also an avid reader with a keen inclination towards female authors and books about the empowerment and growth of women all over the world.
